What is Cerebral Palsy?

Cerebral Palsy is an impairment of the brain usually present from birth that affects movement. Its presentation varies widely from individual to individual.  Physiotherapy can help kids with CP achieve their potential in gross and fine motor skills and mobility.

What is Muscular Dystrophy?

MD is a group of rare genetic conditions that affect muscles and their strength. Although there is no cure for MD, a good treatment plan provided by a team of experts can help with symptoms and prevent complications.

What is Down’s Syndrome?

Children with DS generally experience difficulties reaching their physical milestones. They will often have low muscle tone and strength, and increased joint flexibility.  Early physical therapy intervention can assist children to acquire gross and fine motor skills and prevent unwanted compensatory movement patterns.
